HEC Lausanne once again labelled Business School Impact System (BSIS) for 3 years

The faculty BSIS label has been renewed for a 3-year period, demonstrating our economic and intellectual impact at the local and national level.

The Business School Impact System (BSIS) is designed to determine the extent of a business school's impact on its local environment. This process is solely for member schools of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and this label is a symbol of international appreciation.

HEC Lausanne has been awarded this label for the second time after having demonstrated its intellectual and economic impact on the Lausanne region, the Canton of Vaud, and Switzerland.

According to Marianne Schmid Mast, Dean of HEC Lausanne, “Completing our second BSIS process allowed us to reflect on our progress in the seven key impact areas, update relevant data as we enter important quality processes, (re)engage in meaningful conversations with stakeholders, and discover and develop stories about the impact of our faculty. The report and visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of our institution, reinforce the meaning of our long-term strategy, and inspire discussions that resulted in fruitful ideas to pursue in the first year of our new Dean’s office. The timing and expertise we received were particularly helpful at a time where we build on a strong past to move forward with a new leadership and goals for the local and international profile of our faculty.”
