Marianne Schmid Mast is a full Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of Lausanne, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC Lausanne). Marianne Schmid Mast is a former member of the board of the Swiss National Science Foundation and a former President of the Swiss Psychological Society. She is a fellow of the Social and Personality Psychology Association (SPSP) and a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA), Division 8, in honor of her extraordinary, distinctive, and ongoing contributions to the science of social and personality psychology. She was named one of the 50 most influential psychologists in the world in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
