The “Christophe Pralong – HEC Lausanne Alumni” Golf Trophy

Or how to combine sport, conviviality and good deed

The Golf Trophy co-organized by the HEC Alumni and the Prix Christophe Pralong remains "THE annual golf outing not to be missed". Once again, participants enjoyed a beautiful autumn day, a magnificent course, lots of good spirits and a 100% Valais wine and raclette turn.

The Alumni Association continues to hold the Golf Trophy dear to its heart, not only because of the sporting aspect of the event, which encourages beautiful encounters, but also because it raises funds for the Prix Christophe Pralong which HEC Alumni have been supporting for many years. The mission of this prize is to encourage more students to devote themselves to development issues around the world by helping them carry out a social, entrepreneurial or academic project in an emerging country. This golfing day was also an opportunity to preview the project of one of the Prix Pralong 2023 winners. Fabien Dierckx presented the set-up of a motor hoe rental service, including transport, to small-plot farmers in Togo. Discover the article on the 2023 Laureats.

Many thanks to all participants as well as to our sponsor Maurice Lacroix who donated a splendid watch, to the Prix Christophe Pralong sponsors Agrocean SA and the bank Bic Bred Suisse SA, as well as Provins for the wines at the turn and at the party, the Bonmont Golf Club, and to the many tombola contributors. And let's not forget the volunteers, without whom nothing would be possible: Antoine “chef racleur”, Paul André king of the corkscrew, Nicolas master of the tombola, Estelle & Ramy photographers of choice and, of course, the HEC Alumni and Prix Pralong teams who graciously give their time all year round.

Stay informed on our Golf page and we look forward to seeing you on September 27th 2024!
