Golf Tournament - A bright spot in a gray world

The Golf Trophy co-organized by the HEC Alumni Association and the Christophe Pralong Prize has become the place to be. In these troubled times, participants were able to enjoy the only “dry” day of the week, the famous 100% authentic Valais raclette - Antoine the raclette maestro included - wine from our sponsor Provins, magnificent greens and high spirits. Not to mention a tasting of Tres Hermanos cigars thanks to our Alumni Philippe Dubois and innovative and natural drinks from Ice Cascara. For those who were more snuggly, a massage session by Fabien.

This Golf Trophy remains very important to the Alumni Association, not only for its sporting aspect which allows for good encounters, but also because this event is an occasion to support and gather funds for the Christophe Pralong Prize which the HEC Alumni have supported for many years. This Prize aims to encourage more students to dedicate themselves to developmental issues in the world by helping them to carry out a social, entrepreneurial or academic project in an emerging country. The event was also the occasion to discover a preview of Aurélie and Loïc’s, winners of the 2022 Pralong Prize, with their project in Tanzania. They succeeded in changing the lives of hundreds of young girls by offering them cloth menstrual pads and information sessions on this still-taboo subject.

A big thank you to all participants, as well as to our sponsor Maurice Lacroix who offered a splendid watch, to the sponsors of the Christophe Pralong Prize: PwC and the Bic Bred Bank, the Provins house, the Bonmont Golf Club for all the provided logistics and to the numerous contributors to the tombola.
