General Assembly 2023

On March 14th, we invited you to the Association’s General Assembly. Like every year, many of you came to share this important moment in the life of the HEC Lausanne Alumni community.

There are the faithful who come back year after year and whom we are very happy to see again. But we were also very happy to welcome new Alumni who wish, in turn, to take an active part in the life of the Association.

During this Assembly we have, as usual, presented you with the budget of the current year and our forecasts for this new year. We have reviewed our membership fees as well as our prognosis for 2023. We also shared with you our various upcoming projects as well as our previous achievements.

The members of the committee were re-elected at the end of the evening. Haja Rajaonarivo, Marianne Schmid Mast, Julien Cornamusaz, Bérénice Jaccard, Daniel Maman, Serge Roth and Paulraj Kanthia are the members of the 2023 Committee. We warmly thank Delphine Andreae Andreae who is leaving the committee but remains active as Ambassador of the Zurich Club, Elodie Gysler and Delphine Waniusiow who are also resigning.

The Alumni who were present were also able to give their opinions and share their ideas on the future of the Association. It is always very important for us to have direct feedback from our members. It helps us to evolve and develop while remaining relevant to our community.

We thank all the participants for their involvement and we look forward to seeing you next spring at the 2024 General Assembly.

This Assembly was followed as usual by a conference. This year we had the pleasure to receive Mr. Dan Staner for a conference entitled "mRNA - the next revolution in global public health"

or "How Moderna has successfully capitalized on its cutting-edge development in messenger RNA and used its organizational agility to scale up and meet the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, and their contribution to the next revolution in global public health."

If you were unable to attend or want to learn more about the topic, read our article written by HEConomist about this conference.
