Alumni Evening 2025 – Your Reflections on an Evening Like No Other
The Alumni Evening 2025 brought together more than 330 guests and several generations of graduates for a moment of reunion and conviviality in the iconic Internef building. Amid emotion, laughter, and shared memories, participants praised the warm atmosphere, the quality of the dinner, andthe richness of the encounters. Many highlighted the pleasure of “rediscovering the HEC spirit” and the depth of the exchanges that marked the evening.
The feedback received reflects a strong sense of attachment to the HEC Lausanne Alumni community and a clear desire to see these gatherings continue. Several Alumni even compared the event to a “madeleine de Proust,” a symbol of a bond that transcends the years.
A few constructive points for improvement were also shared: insufficient sound quality, lighting that was too bright during the dancing segment, and the limited visibility of the photobooth and stands (Yearbook, goodies). These valuable observations will guide the organizing team for the next edition.
It is also worth noting that some non-contributing participants felt the price of the evening was relatively high. This choice reflected a deliberate decision to introduce a significant CHF 50.– price difference between contributing and non-contributing members, in order to recognize and thank those who actively support the Association. In full transparency, the preferential price for contributing members did not cover the full cost of the event; the participation of non-contributing attendees therefore helped ensure its financial balance.
Overall, this 50th anniversary evening confirmed what the HEC Lausanne Alumni community has always embodied: energy, conviviality, and meaningful connections. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success—and see you at the next edition!
