The “Christophe Pralong - Alumni HEC Lausanne” Golf Trophy 2024

Or how to combine sport, conviviality and good deeds between gusts of wind and autumnal light.

The Golf Trophy co-organized by the HEC Lausanne Alumni Association and the Prix Christophe Pralong remains “THE annual golf outing not to be missed”. For this year's event, participants had their hair blown and bags knocked over during the first few holes, but were then able to enjoy a pleasant autumn day, a course as magnificent as ever, a fantastic athmosphere with the traditional raclette and wine at the turn and layed back dinner.

The Alumni Association continues to hold the Golf Trophy dear to its heart, not only because of the sporting aspect of the event, which encourages great encounters, but also as it raises funds for the Prix Christophe Pralong, which the HEC Alumni Association has been supporting for many years. The aim of this prize is to encourage more students to devote themselves to development issues around the world, by helping them carry out a social, entrepreneurial or academic project in an emerging country.

The golf tournament was also an opportunity to hear first hand about the project of one of the Prix Pralong 2024 winners. Alexandra Ceban (Master's student in Public Policy and Management at UNIL's Institut des Hautes Études en Administration Publique) presented her project in Moldavia with Sofia Benczédi Munar (Master's student in Management at HEC Lausanne), entitled “Les Aiguilles du Temps: Brodant l'Espoir dans le Coeur des Oubliés” (“The Needles of Time: Embroidering Hope in the Heart of the Forgotten”).

Many thanks to all participants, as well as to our sponsor Maurice Lacroix, who donated a splendid watch, to Prix Christophe Pralong sponsors Agrocean SA and Bic Bred Suisse SA, to the Golf Club de Bonmont, and to the many contributors to the tombola. And let's not forget the volunteers, without whom nothing would be possible: Antoine, the chief scraper, Nicolas, the tombola master, Estelle & Ramy, the photographers, and of course the HEC Alumni and Prix Pralong teams, who give their time all year round.

Until the next edition in autumn 2025, relive this trophy through the pictures taken.
