A look back on the 2025 General Assembly

The General Assembly is one of the key events in the life of our Association. It offers our paying members a valuable opportunity to review our actions, discover our projects, financial statements and budget, and participate in the election of Committee members. It is also a moment of exchange where ideas and feedback can be shared. As per tradition, this edition concluded with an inspiring conference.

50 Years of Commitment – And Still Going Strong for HEC Lausanne Alumni!

Dear Alumni, dear friends,

2025 marks a major milestone for our Association: we are celebrating our 50th anniversary!
Half a century of building connections, launching projects and supporting HEC Lausanne Graduates worldwide.
This journey was made possible by generations of Presidents, Committee Members, General Secretaries, Ambassadors and volunteers.
To all of you – thank you!

Busy Year in 2024

Despite financial and logistical challenges, the Association team – brilliantly led by Laetitia Fatio – achieved remarkable results. A few key figures:

• Participation in 6 graduation ceremonies, welcoming 1,400 new Alumni

• Organization of 15 events: conferences, company visits and social gatherings

• 30 Club meetups, in Switzerland and abroad

• 30 partner events open to our members

• 2 editions of Alumzine, our online magazine, including a special feature on the roots of our Faculty

• Support for the Pralong and Cadot Prizes, funding student projects up to CHF 10,000

• Active relaunch of the mentoring program

A Lively, Supportive Community

After 35 years of involvement in the Association – several of them as President – I want to emphasize the human and intellectual richness of our network.
How fortunate I have been to stay connected to HEC Lausanne over the years and to meet so many inspiring individuals!

As I enter my final year as President, I make a heartfelt request:

Treasurer Julien Cornamusaz presented the financial reports

After answering several insightful questions from attendees, the 2024 financial statements and 2025 budget were approved by the members present.
We thank them for attending and for their interest in their Association.

The Committee

Serge Roth (HEC’70), standing for re-election, was renewed, and we were pleased to welcome two new members: Pauline Rosenblatt (HEC’21) and Alexis Valenza (HEC’24)

The Committee now consists of 12 members.

This General Assembly was followed by a keynote from Mr. Bruno Le Maire, Visiting Professor at Enterprise for Society Center (E4S) and HEC Lausanne, and former French Minister of the Economy, Finance, and Industrial & Digital Sovereignty.
