New appointments at HEC Lausanne

Last September, we were delighted to welcome three new professors and one maître d’enseignement et de recherche, who joined four of our departments.

Department of Business Law and Tax

Pascal Favrod-Coune, as Associate Professor. His areas of expertise include commercial law, financial regulation (particularly Fintech), compliance, and new technology law.

Department of Marketing

Simona Haasova, as Maître d’enseignement et de recherche. Her research examines how communication, information, and social contexts can guide healthier and more sustainable choices.

Department of Economics

Leon Huetsch, as Assistant Professor on a tenure-track position. At the intersection of macroeconomics and labor economics, his work focuses on how structural changes in the economy affect individuals and inequalities.

Department of Actuarial Science

Yevhen Havrylenko, as Assistant Professor on a tenure-track position. His areas of expertise include control theory and data science, with a particular focus on applications in insurance and finance.
